1946 Indian CHIEF in Birmingham, AL

FOR SALE I AM OFFERING AN INDIAN CHIEF 1946 COMPLETELY RESTORED WITH LESS THAN 100 MILES AFTER RESTORATION.THIS MOTORCYCLE HAS BEEN RE-DONE FROM BARE FRAME UP. I bought this machine from a guy that rescued it from a barn 45 years ago. He cleaned it and fixed it as a daily runner around the little town of Santa Barbara, California until family problems kept him away from riding it.At the time I got it the bike, it was in perfect running order but, I felt the challenge to get it taken apart and rebuilt, buy and replace any part that need it to be done.Thousands of dollars were spent in chroming all its components. The front fork was chromed but it shown the mark of time, so it was re-done. Body was solid as a German tank so sand blasting and paint was only needed. Gear box needed to be cleaned and adjust, clutch was pretty much gone so new one is on it, and so on and so for.After so much work, I need to sale it in order to pay my doughter post graduate university tuition.This is a healthy specimen refreshed to its glory times.I hope you appreciateA note aside:Today I have been mentioned buy a connoisseur that there are some parts missing as the rubber between the gauges and the gas tank or incorrect as the front fender light that belongs to a 1948 model (I still have the original 1946 that goes with the bike) or the position of the muffler that I wanted to be that way but can be turned around unscrewing a couple or screws.
